An expert at developing staff and systems to their highest proficiencies, Ms. West has extensive experience working with a diversified staff in both large and small companies with union and non-union environments. Her multi-faceted role at MB Real Estate has allowed the firm to grow through its support teams.

As Director of Human Resources, Ms. West focuses her time and efforts on MB Real Estate's employees. She is closely involved at the property level in the activities between managers and employees. This philosophy allows her to immediately identify potential problems and risks and take proactive steps to implement beneficial solutions.

Since joining MB Real Estate in 2000, Ms. West has developed an efficient, fully integrated payroll/HRIS system, designed specifically for the needs of real estate. As a benefits specialist, she designed and administered a new and more competitive benefits package within her first year at the firm. In addition, with her solid background in the legalities of HR, Ms. West implements policies that protect the company and its employees.

In Ms. West's role as Director of Marketing, Information Technology, and Office Services, she acts as planner and strategist in advancing current systems in these important support divisions. Currently, she is leading the effort to reformat the corporate Web site, generate business plans for buildings in MB Real Estate's portfolio, and turn administrative office functions into pragmatic systems.

Ms. West is a key leader in overall company communication. She facilitates and directs weekly executive meetings as well as plans/distributes quarterly meetings and newsletters.

Ms. West earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Arizona State University and has over 17 years of professional management experience, including 11 years at the Hyatt Corporation as the Corporate Director of Human Resources, specializing in labor relations, training, and development.
