  buildOn

We are a proud supporter and participant of buildOn, a non-profit organization that empowers primarily urban U.S. high school students through in-class and intensive after school programs as well as brings literacy to children and adults in developing countries around the world. MB Real Estate Chairman and CEO Peter Ricker serves on the organization's Global Leadership Council, and President John Murphy serves on the Midwest Board.

Great Chicago Food Depository   GREATER CHICAGO
FOOD DEPOSITORY

We work closely with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, developing campaigns each year to raise money for the non-profit organization. As part of Michigan Plaza’s “Wave Goodbye to Hunger” campaign, Michigan Plaza donated approximately $20,000 to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The MB Real Estate-managed building donated $0.50 on behalf of the tenant and cooperating broker for every square foot of new leasing during one quarter.

Chicago Youth Programs   CHICAGO YOUTH PROGRAMS

Chicago Youth Programs focuses on children from Cabrini Green, Washington Park, and Uptown providing minority youth with tutoring, free healthcare, recreational activities, cultural activities and career placement services. MB Real Estate’s Andy Davidson and Maureen Grove are Board members and oversee our in- volvement with the organization. They are also key organizers of Chicago Youth Programs’ annual Spring Fling fundraiser.
